Happy New Year!

January was an eventful and productive month!

The Grade 7's completed their Calder inspired Mobiles. They truly are beauty in motion!

The Grade 8's created torn paper self-portraits in a mosaic style.

The Grade 5's had fun with Pop Art, painting Marilyn Monroe and Elvis Prestley.

The Grade 6's painted banners to illustrate the UN Rights of the Child after studying Pablo Picasso's "Guernica".

I say goodbye to 6N this month as they go on to Band. I will miss them and wish them well. They are a great bunch!

October Skies

October is a month filled with beautiful skies; gorgeous sunsets and clear starry nights. I love the fall and the grade 5's captured God's awesome creation in two spectacular projects this month!

The Grade 6's tried their hand at Chinese Brush Painting!

The Grade 7's created intricate texture collages from painted paper.

The Grade 8's drew detailed portraits. Some of them were even of themsleves!
